In Japan, almost every company begins with a morning meeting (Chorei). It is a short team huddle with the purpose to start every working day with a team brief, so that the whole team is up to date on what is important and what do they need to do today.
At sticks’n’sushi we usually have a chorei two times a day. The first is in the morning, before the lunch rush. The second chourei is in the afternoon, before the evening service begins.
So if you one day suddenly hear the following, ichi, ni, san, ush! Don’t be worried. It’s just the team ending their chorei.
